The subject is not exactly the classical beauty, but all in all it's a wonderful picture. The soft colors, the mix of sharp details and blurred background...

I was never sure whether I loved the world in Morrowind because or despite the very old graphic, it had a charm of its own. You captured it perfectly, thanks for bringing back good memories.

Ugh, a cliffracer in the distance. I so hated those dreadful things. Its a shame not many Silt-Striders are around any more :/. Awesome work! This is definetively a favourite.

Love the work. I'm a volunteer working on a fan based port of the Morrowind game into the newer Skyrim game engine. We are creating fan-based art loading screens for the game and would like your permission to include this piece of art work and any others that are Morrowind related. Full credit will be given with link to DA profile. Its a free game made by Elder Scrolls enthusiasts. For details you can check out our website morroblivion.com

When playing Morrowind I always wished you could actually see the Silt Striders traveling about the land and maybe even ride around on one. Beautiful drawing!

I love it! This painting makes me feel like playing The Elder Scrolls III again, and I must admit that the Ashlands is the worst region to explore in the land of Morrowind, my Dunmer caught the blight disease several times while travelling on foot.

the Silt Strider riders make them move by prodding exposed nerve endings.

When I first looked at this picture, I could hear that "throooom" sound that silt striders make. The lighting is really good as well; it looks just like the haze you get in dusty areas of Vvardenfell.

There's a Cliff Racer in the background. There's a Cliff Racer and I cannot kill it. *deep breath* Okay, it's not a Cliff Racer, so I need not kill it.

The art is great -- looks like the slitstrider "station" in Ald'ruhn? :)

too bad they did not have something like these in Oblivion or have something similar in Skyrim, but i think the game dynaics are a little different so they had to come up with a faster way to quick travel, whereas now you just basically teleport from anywhere outside and its a different time as if you had traveled, and before you had to run to one of these and hop on to go really far. It would probably be a cool way to travel in any DLC they add to Skyrim!

This is absolutely my favourite from all your pics. Oh my God, the atmoshpere............... the colors, the ash, the "silence" in the picture..... just beautiful.
And while viewing this I can't help but imagine this creepy sound you always hear when you visit cities like Ald'ruhn and such. I can't describe it; it seems it's coming from some big insect somewhere in the wildness, I don't know... I's such an atmospheric sound:)

So in the mood... The first time I heard a silt strider ingame I freaked out like "where's the monster that made that sound??", killed some cliffracers and mudcrabs then realized that was just wrong... Though nervous in the beginning as I played I really came to love this bitter atmosphere and I think you reproduced it perfectly.
And I love the detail of the road signs, the cliffracer and the soft moons in the sky... The colors are wonderful.
