The factions in ESO are actually rather interesting. Heck, the races that compose the Ebonheart Pact would rather not have anything to do with each other, but the races of the Daggerfall Covenant seem to get along just fine.
I was pissed with how lame TES series seemed to be getting (TESO looks so different and... not right in comparison to the other ES games) but when I saw the gameplay videos and the ones about the factions and all, my faith in Bethesda was renewed.
They also invaded the southern areas of Morrowind and practically sabotaged Houses Dres and Telvanni. :I It was an understandable thing to do since they had been enslaved by the Dunmer for ages, but still. I'm sure many Morrowind fans will never forgive them.
yeah, not to forget that big piece of awesomeness. Considering the fact that morrowind is practically in ruin now, after red mountain, then the invasion, most Dunmer will have to find a new home, not like morrowind was originally theirs.
Yeah. As my sister and I say, many of the Dunmer (particularly the ones around Riften in Skyrim) have changed. They're no longer proud of their ancestry and lineage, and just work as humble as anyone else. They lost their spirit as well as their homeland.
this is 2000 years ago, where Nord's and Dark Elves still held good standings. Hell, dark Elves helped the Nord's settle in Skyrim. Argonians and dark elves share a common home and share similar beliefs, they have always been allies with each other, even to Skyrim's era. Its not as strange as you think.
Actually, this is 1000 years ago, when Nords and Dunmer hate each other. But they don't have much of a choice, and the Dunmer have no intention of watching the other pacts seize the throne. It explains it in one the ESO videos, I think.
