Encouraged by questions and request, I made this. It was fun to put this together, but I don't think this as a tutorial - you can't really learn to paint like someone else by following tutorials, but at least this WIP-like guide represents you my way of doing things. And I don't know about you, but I like to browse through all kind of tutorials just for curiosity. Who knows, maybe someone's brave enough to try my way and thus finds the style that best serves his/her interests.

Painting and guide done for Photoshop CS, not that a previous or newer version will do, but a Wacom or other tablet is inevitably necessary.

Wooo nice.

I always wonder how people do the coloring and shading. If I do it with pencils, no matter how soft I try to fill the line art... it looks streaky and scribbly... ungh
