So, the robot mode design is finished! I doubt I'll be drawing a separate vehicle mode pic in addition to this, unless I can work it into the "in action" piece I'm planning to do. You know, just to give you the idea of Sunny's style of handling things :> His alt mode is a Lamborghini Murciélago, if that still at this point has managed to elude you.
Sunstreaker is a hand-to-hand brawler. He's small, and as frustrating it is to his ego, he has enough sense to use it in his advantage in battle. He knows where to strike, and has the strength to strike hard. His armor is tough, and he can take a lot of pounding before finally going down - down he eventually must go, before he's not known to back down from battle. He loves a good fight and really prefers to handle things up close and personally, was the opponent merely a drone or a Decepticon size of a house. Sunstreaker's undeniable skill and strength somewhat warp his image of his own importance, and that's why at times he may come across as slightly egotistical and overly dramatic. In my personal movie universe Sunstreaker is not Sideswipe's brother. Partly because the roles for Autobot twins are already taken, partly because Sideswipe and Sunstreaker would both rather work alone. But together the two would make a damn good team - speed and strength combined. On TFW2005 boards I was suggested to give him wheel feet to go with Sideswipe, but I want to stay true to my original design for most part. The tires give his upper body more mass and sorta look like muscles (I know they don't, but sort of!). That's also why I kept the most kibble in his arms and back. I wanted to keep the tighter fit of his legs' armor plating to imitate the solid look of wrestling boots. Kicking is also easier with real feet. DOWNLOAD FOR FULL SIZE! ----------- This Sunstreaker is a remake of my previous Movie Sunstreaker I did back in March 2008. With the final design I'll participate in a robot design contest hosted by TFW2005.com and the awesome Josh Nizzi Transformers © Hasbro |

BUT TELL OUR AUDIENCE THIS, ARK: DID VOLDYPOO AND DUMBLYDOOR LIVE HAPPILY EVAR AFTER??
THEY DID NOT.
I think the wheels were a good choice to give him the overall sense of bulk, despite his size. Just out of curiosity, where would his fit on the size scale? Smaller than Bumblebee but taller than the twins is where I imagine him from the bio.
And well done on his trademark headfins! The overall style is very movie-esque. Well done! Good luck on the contest.
